200 blue thumbs for the farm learning centre
In the summer, SaluVet GmbH launched a very special campaign in cooperation with the Lernort Bauernhof project (www.lob-bw.de). For every farmer who dipped their thumb in Dr Schaette dipping liquid and held their blue thumb up to the camera, 1 euro went into the donation pot.
At the end of the campaign, there were 200 thumbs. Dr Sandra Graf-Schiller, Managing Director of SaluVet GmbH, presented a symbolic cheque to Ann-Kathrin Käppeler, coordinator of the project, in mid-November. “We will use the money to finance an interactive learning station at one of our partner farms in spring 2024,” says Ann-Kathrin Käppeler, “we will gradually reveal what exactly it will look like over the next few months.”
SaluVet GmbH has been supporting the Lernort Bauernhof project for years. “We are very pleased about this collaboration,” said Dr Sandra Graf-Schiller at the cheque handover, “The aim of this project is to give children and young people an experience of food production and processing.” This is very important and valuable.
